Be attentive, our guardian and defender,
You who protected Your promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
You who parted the Red Sea,
Allowing Israel to escape slavery in Egypt.
Rise up, O’ Powerful One,
And save us from this torment!
Alleviate our suffering, LORD;
Let Your presence be among us, that we may be healed.
O’ Creator God,
How long will You ignore Your peoples’ cries?
You have seen our misery,
And heard our agony.
You let us endure this hardship,
Grieving the loss of loved ones.
Heal us, God of love;
And save us from this torment!
Nevertheless, we have known Your miraculous hand,
Mighty are You indeed!
Save us from our affliction,
Cleansing our bodies with Your nourishing breath.
Diminish this detestable disease;
Give us new life, and we will praise Your name.
We sense Your presence and draw You near,
Craving Your protection and relief.
Be with us, Heavenly Host,
And save us from this torment!
