The meeting was well organized and I learned that when leading a meeting not only do you need to be organized and well prepared, but you need to reach all participants respective of the different learning styles of the individuals gathered.  People need to not only be informed and their opinions or concerns addressed, but they must be able to walk away with full understanding of what has been presented.  Information needs to be delivered in verbal, written and visual styles, ie-handouts, discussion, and powerpoint for example.  Presenters must also maintain the course of discussion without allowing people to chase topics down each rabbit hole that presents interest to them individually.
