Comfortable, affordable student housing options

Campus Apartments

Lancaster Seminary has three residence halls - Nevin Hall, Harner Hall, and Bowman Hall - for students and their families who choose the convenience and affordability of living on campus. The residence halls face a courtyard with outdoor seating, a fire pit and gardens.

They feature one- and two-bedroom unfurnished apartments with a living room, dining area, private bath, and kitchen with a refrigerator and apartment-sized stove/oven.

Resident housing is limited to degree-seeking students and their families. Ours is a pet-friendly campus and up to two small pets are allowed in the residence halls. There is an additional security deposit required for pet owners, as noted in the Student Handbook.

The Seminary provides Wi-Fi, heat, hot/cold water, sewer, trash and recycling for the apartments. Resident students are responsible for electric, telephone and cable TV (if desired). Note that our apartments are not furnished.

Rooms in Richards Hall

Furnished rooms in Richards Hall are available for commuter students who wish to periodically stay overnight on campus. Each floor has a common lounge with a kitchenette and comfortable seating.

Most rooms in Richards Hall share a bathroom with the adjacent room. No pets are allowed in Richards Hall

There are a limited number of hotel-style rooms with a private bath and amenities that often are reserved for seminary guests. Commuter students may request one of these rooms for occasional use (nightly or weekly only) if a room is available. There is an additional fee for a hotel-style room with private bath.
