Help, O Lord, many are losing hope;
the faithful have turned back to the ways of the unfaithful.
They do it because they are attracted to what they see;
not what they believed at one time.
May the Lord blind our fleshy ways,
the attractions that draw us near to them,
but some of us still hold
to your unchanging hand;
continue to give us encouragement—Our Lord.
Because of us,
where two or three are gathered in your name,
There the Lord will be also;
We put our trust in you as our refuge.
For you are also the
light of the world,
a strong tower, we can go to and be safe.
Help us Lord to encourage those who have lost their faith
to renew their faith; and give us wisdom to draw non-believers
to your ways.
And then Lord protect us all.
Lord, we give you praise for the victory.
