    Welcome Doctor of Ministry Students

    Welcome to Lancaster Theological Seminary! This online orientation course is designed to help you become acquainted with the seminary, register for courses and purchase text books, develop proficiency in using our online learning platform, discover the resources available to you through the Schaff Library, and introduce you to the Business Office. 

    Throughout the course are checkboxes that will appear checked when you have completed the requirement. These will help you keep track of tasks you still need to complete.

  • Campus Information

    Please remember that we will be taking photos on Monday, October 15 so that we may issue your student IDs. These IDs are necessary for you to access reciprocal benefits at Franklin & Marshall College (library privileges, athletic facilities, etc.) and to receive student discounts.

  • Sonis: Course Registration Information

    Your academic records and course registration is managed in Sonis. This is also where you will complete course evaluations before receiving your final grades at the end of every semester.

  • MBS Direct: Online Bookstore

    MBS Direct LogoOur online bookstore is managed by MBS Direct. Use their website to access the lists of textbooks for your courses. Textbooks purchased through MBS Direct may be returned hassle-free if the books for the course change before the start of classes.

  • Moodle: Virtual Campus for Online Learning

    If you've gotten this far in the orientation, you must be getting along pretty well with Moodle. You will be using Moodle for all of your courses and it offers many additional features to support your learning. 

  • Schaff Library

    Students are able to log in to their library accounts with their lancasterseminary.edu account credentials. 

    Lancaster Theological Seminary participates in the SEPTLA reciprocal borrowing program and the ATLA reciprocal borrowing program. Students wishing to borrow books from a participating library in either of these programs should contact the library beforehand to obtain an enrollment verification form.

     

     

  • Business Office

    The Business Office is located on the second floor of the library building and is open weekdays 8:30-5:00 (closed daily for lunch, 1:00-2:00). The staff in this office take care of the following requests:

    • Parking tags
    • Fobs for access to Lark
    • Reservations for Richards Hall and student apartments
    • Reservations for meeting rooms
    • 1098T forms for tax reporting
