This course examines the ethical obligations and moral expectations of ministerial leaders in varied contexts. Through course readings, case studies, discussion, and writing assignments, students explore the nature of the ministerial role in its moral dimensions. The course examines ministry as vocation and profession; fiduciary duty and confidentiality; healthy relationships, self-care, and boundary setting; the use and abuse of power; and the public role of ministerial leaders.
