Keeping the safety of students, faculty and staff in mind, Lancaster Seminary will make every effort not to cancel classes in the case of inclement weather.
In case of inclement weather, please be aware of the weather conditions both where you are and the conditions in Lancaster. YOU NEED TO DECIDE if it is safe for you to travel.

TIMING
Every effort is made to update our website's homepage by 6:30 a.m. in case an event will delay opening. When weather conditions change or if access to the campus becomes a concern, the delay status may be updated so plan to check the sources listed at left for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
IN CASE YOU GET STRANDED AT THE SEMINARY
If severe weather occurs while you are here at the Seminary, and it is unsafe for you to travel home, you may contact the Business Office to see if there is availability to reserve a room for an emergency overnight stay, billed at the student room rate.
Emergency kits are available at the SCC Food Bank. It's recommended that you keep an emergency kit in your car including linens, a change of clothes, and personal care items just in case.
